Like all other generators, Tec 4400 RAS also supports key start (a.k.a electric start) and recoil start (a.k.a rope and grip)
ATS for a smart generator
Tec Big Boy 4400RAS generator comes with another novelty, an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), which makes life a lot easier. The ATS automatically turns on your Tec generator when there is a power failure and turns it off when power is restored. Having a built-in ATS may also save you a little cost as you no longer require to invest an a manual transfer switch.
